Belfast YMCA is running Better Together during the Autumn half term break in October 2025
Better Together is a cross community project exploring our identity, good relations, teamwork and leadership. This will be delivered over a series of sessions held in Belfast YMCA and a series of trips and experiences.
WHO - a group of 16 young people living across Belfast
AGE - Yr 8 - Yr 10 in June 2025
COST - £10 per person (to be paid to confirm place on the project)
COMMITMENT - It is essential that participants can attend all sessions between Monday and Thursday
PARTICIPATION - Young people must be willing to engage in all elements of the project and follow our code of conduct.
WHEN:
Monday 27th October
- Induction, Teambuilding, Pizza lunch and a workshop
Tuesday 28th October
- Trip to Prison Island
- Tour of murals and peace walls of Belfast
Wednesday 29th October
- Day trip to Derry/Londonderry
- Visit to the Apprentice Boys' of Derry and the Museum of Free Derry
Thursday 30th October
- Circusful workshop
- Workshops and awards ceremony
