St Judes

At St Judes we offer Nursery and Primary School Collections from local schools.

We are based in St Judes Parish Hall on the Ravenhill Road, opposite Cherryvale Park. We offer a play based and child centred environment.

We encourage children to plan activities and resources around their play needs. Typically, the activities that we have on offer will include arts and crafts, messy play, chill out zone, construction, role play, dress up, board games, cookery and lots of outdoor play.

Children will also be supported to complete homework as required.

We have a large and bright upstairs hall for our Primary Children and a warm and friendly Nursery room downstairs for our Nursery Wraparound.

We also have access to a large garden space and we regularly visit Cherryvale Park for outdoor play and adventures.

Nursery School Wraparound

We offer a Nursery Wraparound Room with collections from Rosetta Nursery School and Holy Rosary Nursery School.

We operate this term time Monday Friday 1.30pm - 6.00pm which includes provision during the following school holidays (October, February Half Terms and one week of Easter).

Monthly fees will be payable from September to June (44 weeks) which will include Holiday Cover for children’s normal days.

During the Summer Holiday between Nursery and Primary School your child can avail of full day camps with us.

After School Club (P1 to P7)

Our St Jude’s After School Club operates term time Monday Friday 1.45pm - 6.00pm.

Monthly fees are payable from September to June - spread equally across the 10 months.

We collect children from Forge Integrated Primary School and Rosetta Primary School. The majority of primary school collections are on foot.

Holiday Clubs
During Easter, October Half Term and Summer school holidays we operate holiday clubs at St Jude’s. These operate core hours 8.30am to 3.30pm with optional top up hours available until 5.30pm each day.

Parents can choose to book their children in for specific days or full weeks. Fees for holiday clubs are in addition to the after school club.

Nursery Wraparound - £44
1.30pm to 6pm

Includes healthy snacks, crafts and any special activities.

Monthly Billing Calculation:
Daily Rate x No of Days x 44 / 10 = Monthly Bill 
Eg: £44 x 3 days x 44 weeks / 10 = £528 per month 

We are registered with Tax Free Childcare which can provide a saving of 20%. Additionally, a further 15% discount can be claimed via NICCS subsidy for eligible families.

Please note: Fees are reviewed each April in line with government wage guidelines and inflation.

After School Club - £32
1.45pm to 6pm

Includes healthy snacks, crafts and any special activities.

Monthly Billing Calculation:
Daily Rate x No of Days x 39 / 10 = Monthly Bill 
Eg: £32 x 3 days x 39 weeks / 10 = £374 per month 

We are registered with Tax Free Childcare which can provide a saving of 20%. Additionally, a further 15% discount can be claimed via NICCS subsidy for eligible families.

FAQs

  • We provide care from when your child finishes Nursery or School until 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

    During settling in and early closures we will endeavour to collect children earlier. There will be additional fees for settling in periods.

  • Some parents choose as little as one session a week - others choose five days. We will try to accommodate your families needs but with higher demand will prioritise families who need full time and siblings.
